Call for proposals for the development of an e-learning platform under the BOOST project

“BOOST – Boosting Outstanding Omnicompetent Successful Talents” is a 24-month strategic partnership, co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, which aims to create new learning and personal development opportunities for young people in Europe by providing interactive educational formats and methods based on the development of transversal skills.

THE MAIN NEEDS OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE WHICH THE BOOST PROJECT WILL COVER ARE:
• The empowerment of young people and youth workers through all activities and results of the BOOST project;
• Practical, suitable for young people e-learning platform – MOOC, for the development of transversal skills of young people;
• BOOST handbook for youth workers with a practical focus on the development of transversal skills in young people.

FOR THE PROJECT NEEDS IT IS NECESSARY TO DEVELOP AN E-LEARNING PLATFORM AS FOLLOWS:
Development of a cloud-based e-learning platform with the following capabilities:
• An administrative panel in English with a minimum of 10 active users; possibility for collaboration between different administrators;
• Educational platform (self-learning path) which will be a MOOC with the capability to attach over 70 videos, presentations and files, tracking learning progress, the capability to save progress, download a progress file for each learner and individualized feedback;
• Unlimited number of text pages;
• “News” module
• “Gallery” module;
• Mobile version of the platform;
• Capability to upload text pages and video resources;
• Translation of the content and the website into 5 different European languages;
• Development of a search engine for resources, included in the site, in which to be available diverse research, analysis and documents and the ability to search by keywords, language, type of document;
• Purchase of a domain (selected by the client), cloud-based hosting and support for a period of 5 years;
• Cloud-based platform and hosting to be able to distribute the load between several servers located in different centers in Europe.

Proposals for the development of the above components will be evaluated in terms of:
• Best value for money;
• Previous experience in performing such orders;
• Total budget for the execution of the order.

The applications are going to be evaluated by June 30, 2021 and the selected candidate will be notified, and after the notification will be invited to sign a subcontract.

EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS: 05/07/2021. THE RESULTS ARE GOING TO BE ANNOUNCED BY 10/07/2021.
